VIDEOVOCE is Laurel MacDonald’s performance project integrating solo vocals with live electronics and video, with Phil Strong adding his distinctive sonic signature from the mixing board. VIDEOVOCE first hit the stage during MacDonald’s 2008 residency at Somewhere There in Toronto. She took the project to Summerworks Theatre Festival in Toronto in 2009, and to Art School (Dismissed), Somewhere There and the SOUNDplay Festival in Toronto, and the MUTEK Festival in Montreal, in 2010.
