Videovoce, a Toronto-based performance project integrating live vocals with
electronics and video, was conceived in 2008 by the long-established creative team of
singer/composer/video artist Laurel MacDonald and composer/sound designer Phil Strong.
The project features MacDonald’s spellbinding voice and visuals
and Strong’s distinctive sonic signature, and has been presented at festivals such as
Summerworks in Toronto, MUTEK in Montreal, and Sound Symposium in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
