Welcome to the Luscinia's Lullaby website!

My partner Phil Strong and I are delighted to announce our upcoming concert at *The Music Gallery* in Toronto, on Tuesday March 28, 2006. (Please see my home page and the The Music Gallery website for detailed information.) We will be performing music from my CD Luscinia's Lullaby, and will be joined onstage by several local musical luminaries: vocalists Jennifer Moore and Rebecca Campbell, guitarist Kim Ratcliffe, double bass player Andrew Downing, and The Madawaska String Quartet.

This concert has been made possible with the generous support of the Ontario Arts Council and FACTOR (the Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Records).

(*Please note the venue change: this concert was originally scheduled to take place at Lula Lounge in Toronto. Please note also that vocalist Andrea Koziol will not be appearing on March 28; Rebecca Campbell will sing in her place.*)

In other news: as a proud partner and cousin I was also delighted to hear the announcement on February 27 that my cousin Gaelic singer Mary Jane Lamond was named 'Female Artist of the Year' at the East Coast Music Awards, and that her 2005 CD Stòras, produced by Phil Strong, was chosen 'Roots/Traditional Solo Recording of the Year'.

And Phil and I were very honoured with the recent announcement that Luscinia's Lullaby was chosen as the #1 Essential Echoes CD of 2005, by the staff of the Public Radio International program Echoes, heard across the US.

Released in January 2005, Luscinia's Lullaby is a proudly independent CD that is available worldwide through online sales of the packaged CD, through digital downloads at iTunes and other digital distribution sites, and through bricks-and-mortar music stores in Ontario.
